    Allrighty then...

    Recap
-Much improvement on my splits, yay me!!
Almost there with my left leg facing (no surprise as thats the one I could do it on in high school) right leg getting better, and things are loosening up on spread forward folds as well.

-Got better at working more cardio in, even though I hate running.

-Cut back on pop intake (~~~~cries while stroking unopened Dr Pepper~~~~~)

    For May:
-Celebrate being done with this semester in school and thus having more free time, whoo hoo!!
-when my classes end sub that time frame with some yoga before the kids get out of school and I have to practice with them climbing on me, heh...
-massage appointment with my anatomy teacher (wierd I know) She's going to see if she can locate the muscles responsible for my unequal flexibility in my legs, my moneys on psoas or pectineous....
-Work more with zill drills. Started that in April then fizzled out, whoops.
-Finish those %(*$ing bras I said I would finish last month!!!
-Take fabric just laying around and make something out of it so I can sell it and buy more jewelry on ebay ;)

Here's the link to the original so you can remind yourself what you said you needed to get done this month!

Wow, I set goals that were attainable. I've accomplished almost all of mine, going to start on the last one ("work on projects to sell") today! I have had a marvelous time this month getting prepared for performances with Rakadu and working my choreography muscles.... "going easy on myself" was another goal last month that I think I did an okay job at, and will carry over into May. My other goal is to maintain my dietary health, and continue exercising daily. It feels GOOOOOD after so many years of sitting still.

          Dancing with a troupe.
-Check! Had my first performance with them last night, and will be perfoming at Tribal Fest among others in the months to come.

Working on a choreography for Tribal Fest, and the costume for it.
-It's practically all I did in my spare time last week before my test run at Saqra's Showcase this weekend...still needs work.

Starting to make costuming bits for others [extra-wide pantaloons and such].
-stilllll waiting for enough time, and the right measurments.

I'm taking a costuming and stage make-up class, as well as painting and life drawing this term, so in addition to boosting my bellydance applicable knowledge, I'm reinvesting my heart in fine [visual] art, by dipping into things I missed in my highschool art classes [painting], and things I've been wanting to do since I was a kid [life drawing, since 7th grade man.]
-Ended up taking a welding class instead of a painting class, and am enjoying all but my costuming class...at this point, looks as though I might drop it to work on my own costuming [see above line to make time?]

I'm also becoming a remnant savior at Joann Fabrics, where I work, and so my store of creativity is tested to put them to good use. So far my ideas: little glovelettes, leggings, hair adornments.
-whala: glovlettes. Still need to make the leggins, and my flower made a beautiful adornment for my first performance with Mandala.

In terms of cleaning out and using up...I'm finally getting around to usuing some stuff that's been sitting around for a while, waiting for the perfect project, in a new bra...I'm pondering deconstructing my first belt and putting it's part to better use.
-started that new bra, and it's looking gooood.

          May Goals:

Make a most awesome fringy shisha belt.
Add metal tassles to my coin belt, add more coin drapes, repair old coin drapes.
Aquire more costuming for Mandala and solo performing [Tribal Fest!]
          Make 24ish yard skirt
Make Extra-Wide Pantaloons for Sofia and Heather
Rock everybody's socks at Tribal Fest
Draw each of my teachers at Tribal Fest to make up for the time missed in my life drawing class :3
annnd....get to know my troupe better.

[I can do this...if I drop that class...]

I could if someone wanted to buy them ;D I'm not old enough to get into EMW, but I will be around, is there a chance you'll be taking Jane Archer's workshop? [she's my teacher] I don't know that I'll be at it, but I might be able to work something...We could figure something out if you want, I might not have the material and them made by next weekend, but I could ship them to you or something.
