A dream...

I literally just woke up from dreaming that I got to meat Ms. Brice and Ms. Love! They were super nice and we just talked about random stuff, like cartoons. My hubby was there, too. Also...I ate a large celeriac root...that part was, I guess the requisite "weird dream" part of it.

I hope it becomes a deja vu! If I'm ever so lucky I shall inquire of the lovely Indigo ladies how they learned/taught themselves to do those amazing stomach isolations! As to say how did they manage to even find, let alone isolate each muscle.

(Of course I'll take any advice I can get on that! 8D)

oh that sounds like a great dream right there!

on the subject of belly isolations, it takes a while.
I think i heard from a friend who took a Mardi workshop, that Mardi had the hardest time learning at first. and Now Look At Her!
she looks like she is birthing an alien baby, it is soo amazing!
you just got to practice everyday. everytime i saw my hallway mirror, i would lift up my shirt and try to roll my belly or flutter my diaphram.
it helps imagining that you got Mardi's belly :)

Sounds like to me that if you were lucky enough to meet Ms B and Ms L in a relaxed situation in which everyone had plenty of time, your dream could be very realistic!

A few years back I was fortunate to have an opportunity to eat lunch with Rachel in between workshops at one of Fatiem's events. She sat down next to me while I was eating. I pretty much fell over. She's just like in your dream. Very sweet, humble and funny as hell. Even though she has made her mark, I think she just wants to blend with us all when not on stage.

As for belly rolls, a good DVD recomendation is Delila's Belly Dance Workshop Vol. lll. Also Sultry Slow Moves with Sadie. Both are very good at breaking down the rolls and flutters. Youtube is also a good resourse for all kinds of stuff. I could teach you, but you'd have to come to San Diego for that.
    Happy Dancing
