I'm a weight-lifing & exercise nut and have recently become interested in tribal fusion dance, but in observing the most well-known dancers, I have to conclude that the majority of their physical training regime is through their dance practice, yoga and pilates, rather than weight training.
does anyone know of any particular physical exercise recommendations for the proper combination of flexibility, strength and balance that might be targeted towards the tribal fusion dancer? I'd love to know what the ladies of the Indigo do in their normal practice to keep themselves limber and strong.

Tue, September 18, 2007 - 2:54 PMYoga - lots of Yoga - Real Yoga, like with a teacher, not from a DVD. It will give you stamina, strength, and the mental balance that you need to learn and keep motivated. Good Luck!
