So, I've been looking over the mats on amazon but nothing looks really great. Do any of you have a recommendation for a good mat to travel with? I've thought about those yoga paws (gloves/booties) but I would like something to use with a little padding and protection from icky hotel room floors.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Looking for a Travel Yoga Mat
Wed, December 1, 2010 - 7:02 PMI got the yoga paws to travel with, but end up using a yoga mat anyway.
The easiest thing to travel with is a beach towel or blanket, but you would want to try it at home to see how you feel about yoga on a towel instead of a mat.
Travel with a yoga mat is frustrating, but you can fold them up instead of rolling them up to fit in your suitcase.

Mon, December 13, 2010 - 11:10 PMYou might want to check out Gaiam's reversible travel yoga mat. I don't actually own it, but I've heard some good reviews! It can be rolled or folded in order to fit a suitcase and it's a great price ($23.98)! Looks as though you can use it as a mat towel in your regular classes as well. www.gaiam.com/product/rev...+yoga+mat.do Hope you find one that works! :-) -

Re: Looking for a Travel Yoga Mat
Tue, January 4, 2011 - 11:30 AMI have a gaiam travel yoga mat, and it is great but there is not much padding to it. I also have the yoga paws but I don't like those as much, i really don't like wearing stuff on my feet or hands when I do yoga and the toes get too tight between the toes in my feet in certain poses.
