I'm in the first module of a four part, two year Yoga Teacher Training, and can't wait to apply the Biomechanical principles to Belly Dance. We'll be doing more postural integration and combinations this time.
Post here when you register, I'll be taking requests regarding content. I want each year to be more effective than the year before.

There is a growing interest in ATS and TF among local dancers but it is still a developing artform here. I know a few will be going to the retreat but there are many more that would love to recieve this level of instruction but cannot go either because of their work schedule or the price ($1000 is pretty hefty here).

Looks like the least expensive flights on most travel sites are through Frontier, which just declared bankruptcy and might not be honoring tickets in August. Probably don't want to invest that much money in a company that is "reorganizing" right now, but it seems they are still running. More info here en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frontier_Airlines -

I'm hoping this means you'll be doing Costa Rica next year! I can't swing it this year but soooo want to go so I'm making next years retreat(if there is one) my graduation gift to myself. The yoga training you mentioned sounds intriguing as well, can't wait to see what you learn from it. -

Monte Verde
Wed, May 7, 2008 - 3:09 PMIf anyone has the time you should definitely head up to Monte Verde to the cloud forests there! I spent three wonderful months there for a school study abroad program in tropical biology and fell in love with the people and the place. Pura Vida!

Oh, and they happen to have the best ice cream anywhere!

do anybody knows if there's any other workshops or festival or anything related with bellydance plan in these countries for next year?
