My sweet art students

My advanced students are learning portraiture. We've worked for a few
weeks on specific features and then on how to place them on the face.
Their final project will be a self portrait or some form or another.
Typical of teenagers, weeks of practice starts to become boring unless
you up the antie (sp) So, inspired by all the art here I decided to
have them draw Rachel....I told them I would be posting their pics,
and letting you all judge. So, here is the first installment, the rest
will probably be posted on my school art site and I'll give you a
link....Just thought I'd share the fun. I just love my kids.

You know, it's really funny to see my room from a perspective like that...the sample watercolor-color wheel in the upper right corner for the 8th graders, sample "one liner" painting in the lower right for my advanced kids, wire sculpture hanging from the top of the room from my sculpture class...but you still get the feeling of the "artsy" chaos of my room....those neat freak people never have a chance *grin*
