First of all, I gotta watch that clip you were talking about (loosening hips) at home.
Secondly, apologies if I sound like an absolute stalker, but I love THE boots you guys e.g. Rachel, Kami, Shazza & Sam wear....they're round toed and long lace-up jobbies!
Apprently, they are from a shop in the Haight district, is that right? What make are they and where do I get a pair....I NEED a pair....coming to TF8 in May and have some time in SF before and after - probably not much money at that rate.....
Also, can anyone recommend a good tattooist that isn't fully booked till July!

Those would be da Fluevogs. Store on Haight has great prices and sometimes cheaper than the website! If you don't find what you want there DalJeets store is right up the next block with New Rocks and other cool boots.
I freakin LOVE my fluevogs. They are something you may have to start a savings account for, though... not cheap!
yeah, gotta say I love my fluevogs too. You can find them online as well, and they have a few other stores in the US. Prepare to spend some dough though...the boots are usually $250+ depending on the style. But mine fit like a glove and are not only really cute but incredibly comfortable...I can be in them for hours.

Out of curiosity, how does the sizing run?
I'm hard to fit with a 10 wide. i didn't see that they do 1/2 sizes or widths, and even then not all brands are true anyway.
They generally don't have half sizes but I remember a month ago i tried on a style (which was not a boot) that came in half sizes.

this guy is incredible. He's travels all over, all the time. Hit him up and see when he'll be in the UK again. Also, I know he hits up the West Coast from time to time. Seriously. If you can sit with him, it's awesome. He's the one working on the wings on my ribcage. Fortunately, he spends a lot of time in my home base, so I can wrangle him for a couple hours, here and there.

Oh yeah...Miz Mooz is my FAVORITE brand. I've got like four pairs and wear them all the time...they're incredibly cute and totally comfortable!
Augh...went online last night and bought another pair! Not the ones Rachel recommended, but another cute pair--and on sale!
The owner of Gypsy Moon (www.Gypsymoon.com) is selling her boots. They are Fluevog and a size 10. I just emailed her 2 days ago about the boots that were featured in the sale section of the website. I wear a size 9 so they would of been too big for me. Her name is Jennifer and her email is spider@gypsymoon.com. They don't actually sell those boots, this company sometimes carries gently used items. They look like they are in fabulous condition.

Darn, I looked, but didn't see them. in 19 pages of sale items maybe I missed it.
They are the boots that she has paired with all of the outfits. They are not for sale on the website, so they are not listed. Almost every outfit has these pair of boots. All you have to do is email her about your interest in the Fluevog boots. It's the owners personal pair. So, they are gently used. I hope that helps.:)

Idle Hands in San Fransisco in the Haight is the place for tattoos. If you want to come out all the way to Santa Clara Dawei Zangh is your man, but now being it april, yep you probably won t get in untill september.
Braindrops in Haight looked good.
Rachel recommended it - but with just a week there + a not happy about tattoos hubby and a toddler to run around after, I didn't get one.
